“ Took awhile but was sooooo yummmyyyy and worth it. Good experience! Do recommend if you don't mind the wait ”
“ San Pedro fish market Is located in a large shopping center so parking shouldn't be too bad to find . The ambiance is your average fish market style . They serve fresh catch of the day so that's cool ! The service is nice and friendly no complaints. If you go with a large group I recommend go with the platters they are big enough to feed 4-6 people and have a little bit of everything ”
“ First time here! The weather was perfect to sit outside. When we arrived the greeter explained how to order food and gave us a quick run down of where everything was. The clam chowder was our favorite! ”
“ My family and I were making a trip to LA and my sister saw this place on TikTok and wanted to stop on the way up. We got there and there was a bit of a wait to get in but no big deal. It was cool that it was an outdoor dining area on the water (although. It much of a view because of the fence) which made for great weather. You get in and scan the QR at your table and place your order online which was cool. I placed my order separate because my sisters take forever to decide and I know I wanted to try something that wasn't that tray. I ordered the crispy fish sandwich and the fisherman's stew. My sisters ordered the tray which came out quickly and it definitely was loaded with seafood. I tried some of everything and the first thing I thought was that it needed salt and could only taste the paprika/cayenne in it. They definitely should include a few Lemons with the tray IMO. The seafood itself was nice and clean tasting, but nothing crazy. In my experience, the dishes that make for good pictures and social media tend to be underwhelming when you actually go and try it which is why I like to explore the menu a bit more. Unfortunately I never got my food because my ticket was lost and by the time we told the staff up front (since there's no assigned waiter due to ordering online) it had been like 50 minutes, and then another 15 went by so I ultimately had to cancel my order. I wasn't upset or anything as I understand they are busy and this stuff happens. I told them I would pay for a Ceviche cup to go. The staff was super apologetic and gave me the ceviche on the house. I will say the ceviche was delicious and I enjoyed the pineapple in there! Overall the vibe was cool and I know the staff was hustling to keep track of all their orders. The trays are their wow factor but not something I would personally come back. Being that the ceviche was yummy, I would suggest people try some of their other menu items :) ”
“ Been coming here for years but these prices is getting ridiculous the shrimp tray is one of my favorites fresh tasting shrimp, crab, lobster and that buttery bread is so good it's seasoned very well & the service is great..your right there by the water why is the prices so high $50 for lobster is crazy..lol ”
“ The "world famous shrimp plate" was a must, and it did not disappoint! Such a hefty tray, enough to feed 4 or more people, packed with so much flavor that it was hard to stop eating even when I got full, also had potatoes & veggies mixed in, and came with some garlic bread. We got the whole tilapia fried, and some clam chowder as well. Overall, a solid delicious satisfying meal. If you love seafood, a must try. On top of that, the service was great, quick and smooth system where you can either order up front with people or at any of the many tables by a QR code, the place is huge, nice and spread out, right by the water with music playing. Now the ambiance isn't the same as what it was. Since they closed the old location 2 years ago, the old grungy 'mess hall' with the large crowds of people and mariachi playing. You sort of miss the loudness of the workers calling out your orders from the PA systems and the smell of the pier by the water. But even with all that in the past now, the first bite in to the tray almost made you feel like you were back there. Definitely still worth supporting as they build to their new location. ”
“ Temporary location do to construction so the view wasn't what it could be but the food was good. Here's the order: Whole red snapper 8oz order of small scallops 8oz order of fried shrimp. The whole red snapper was so good, so fresh, we will definitely order again, but the larger size as we share all our food. The SHRIMP was probably the BEST fried shrimp I've had in maybe ever!!! Definitely get some! The small scallops were the smallest I've ever seen, squint your eyes to see in the pic with the potatoes. All in all good food good vibes. We will be back when the construction is done. ”
